New additions made to my model Updated 6/12/98 I've made several additions to the model since it appeared on the cover of Rotory Modeler. A few of the changes are as follows. Replaced the stock X-Cell tail rotor blades with more scale looking Vario blades. I had to re-shaped them slightly to match the full size Bell Longranger's blades. Completely rebuilt the vertical fin to more closely match that of the real one shown above. The leading and tailing edges are now correctly shaped and rivets have been added. I Also added a correctly shaped tail skid (stinger). Rain gutters were added above the doors on both sides of the fuselage. Shown here are photos of the real one (left) and the model (right). Added scale brackets to the landing gear at the fuselage attachment points. * Photo to be added Future additions in the works.
