Here are a few shots of my 1/6th scale version of T.C.'s chopper from the hit TV show Magnum P.I.
It started life as a 21st Century Toys Police
Helicopter. The first step in its transformation was to completely
disassemble it. Small scale rivets were then added to the nose section
and a new set of landing gear was fabricated from scratch.
All the parts were then primed and masked. Each color was then applied separately allowing each coat to dry before moving on to the next color.
I removed the rear doors for the photos so the back section would be visable.
